One rainy, wet, windy day! and to make it more fun great catching. Got to Fort Spokane around 9:30 am motored to just south of the mouth of the river, 3 colors leaded line, 50 ft fluorocarbon leader. One orange, one perch Kekeda. and green smile blade. Did not take too long the orange give us the first one, second, third, and perch came out, orange in, fourth, fifth and so on. We try some long lined but it was just a waste. Wind was coming from the north so trolling up river was difficult to slow down to reel in the fish so we lost many. We fished the area up to 7-Bay until about 3 pm. limited for 3 of us. Speed was near just below 3 MPH.

Sounds like some pretty exciting fishing, thanks for the report. Every time I read one like this I have to ask myself, "why wasn't I there?".

Thanks for the report. I'm glad to hear the orange flies were getting the job done for you. I appreciate you using them and reporting of your success. Three limits of fish is a fun day! Great job getting on the fish out there. - Dave
