After three trips to White Bluff and getting Skunked, finally had success,it sure has being a different year. we put 4 nice ones in the boat on our annual trip with my two sons. We pick up one of them at the airport at 11:30pm thursday, and headed to the camp ground in Othello, got there and set up camp, around 1:30 am the rain came pouring. Up by 5 am in the rain, run to store get some coffee and headed to the boat launch. Only a few boat on line and in the water by 6, Windy, Waves, Current, High water level = the perfect fishing conditions we were hoping for!

Stated trolling super baits and Quick fish, on 45 ft deep, it wasn't easy to keep the boat straight, in fact we were pointing 45 degrees to the current due to the wind, before 7 we had the fish bite but we lost it nearing the boat, already better that 3 previous trips, about 8 we switched to eggs at the bottom, fishing the deeper holes, and BANG, it swallowed the hole egg corkies set up, there was no chance it would have get off. From there it was good action until early afternoon the wind stopped current changed and bite wend dead.

At the end we had 8 take dows and 4 fish in the boat. We lost the biggest fish I had ever had at the Ridge, we fought it for a good 15 to 20 minutes, we had it at the boat a few times to take a run to the bottom, ones it was "ready to be netted we could not get it on the net, way to big for it, and as we try we end up hitting on the head and getting it loose, a big big hooked nose male, my guess would be it was over 45 lbs.

Saturday was a lake like fishing, very little current and we did not get any bites and only a few boat had luck.

Can't wait to get back
