Went out to my spot in Finley where the family and I have caught multiple bass. Kids have gone out in this area in bathing suits to splash around and catch frogs. Location can be found off road past the intersection of E Perkins Rd. and E Hedges Rd.

Keep in mind I saw what appeared to be new trespassing signs and land development so this area might be closed off soon. I went in the evening and no one asked me to leave, so I'm not sure what specific areas they wanted closed off.

Fished over by the barges with a half oz rattling jig (dark brown w/sparkly stuff) and a "river bug" plastic (dark green). Hooked up on the second or third cast (pic, LMB, expected smallies from previous fishing). Ended up only getting 1 bite afterwards on the jig.

Also tried a night crawler on a circle hook for about half an hour or so and pretty sure I never got a bite on it. Buddy tried a texas rigged senko and then a micro spinner bait and he didn't get any bites.

Overall fun to catch the one, but also just nice to be outside for the evening with a friend.
