8/2/2016 3:49:00 PMHewesbob, the reason I use cannon balls is that it is way easier for me to run lots of rods with lead. Also downriggers are very expensive and I do great without them so I decided I don't need to spend $2,000 dollars on equipment I dont need. I have yet to find a fishery I want to fish where I would be required to make that expense.
When fishing less than 50' deep I really don't have a need for them.
