7/15/2016 1:55:00 PMyou got the last 4 kok's before they scattered to all points on the compass. our trip was not a
waste though as i deem half the fishing experience the scenery, etc., and this area is worth
a boat trip just for the view. do you have a tribal license or do you just go for it when heading
up river for walleye ??

7/16/2016 9:34:00 AMAt full pool, you can legally access the shore FROM A BOAT as long as you stay within 20' of waters edge. I don't recommend that by any means, and personally treat all shoreline below the 1310' line as off limits. Not worth the risk for me. This was discussed at the WDFW meeting discussing potential rule changes to protect wild red band trout. There have been no citations issued on the water, and the only place I know of any concern relates to Geezer Beach near the dam on the reservation side of the reservoir. Different issue there.
I fish the San Poil below boundary "B" and have never seen a tribal enforcement boat. Respect tribal lands and you won't have an issue. ;-)
