I went to our annual Men's Retreat at Kettle Falls on Lake Roosevelt arriving Thursday early afternoon. The wind was howling so no one was fishing that day. It calmed down overnight and Friday was a beautiful day without wind. Fished bottom walkers with green worm harnesses and Spin Drift rigs from Mack's. Only caught three with the biggest around 18".
Friend Doug came up Saturday morning and we hit it again fishing Singer bay in 30' of water. Caught some right away and figured we were into them.....not! Every body was catching some but the bite was slow. One boat from our group of 7 boats caught 26 for the day. They were patient and withstood the 95 degree heat trolling back and forth in the back of Singer Bay. Guess I'm not that patient! Hate being roasted alive..... I did catch a burbot on the bottom walker running Gulp worm tips on a Spin Drift. No fooling around like walleye..bash and it was on.
The coup de graw was the prime rib roasted in the Trager . Fed 55 guys the yummy treat. Thanks Dan for all of the work in the food department; what a great time.
Now for those Kokes....I can catch them!!!! Usually ha ha.

PS Caught a couple of walleye suspended on three colors lead core and a Rapala. Lead core strikes again!
