Well my partner and I decided to go try Roosevelt for the Kokanee rather than go springer fishing on the Clearwater since the Number's didn't seem great yet.

It was something of a success, we boated two Nice Kokanee right out in front of Spring Canyon, 18" and 18.5".
I say something of a success because we had a couple of snafu's in our travels that morning, the first of which, I had removed the Planer boards and mast from the boat since we had originally thought we were going Springer fishing and wouldn't need them for that, luckily I rememberd about twenty minutes from the house and went back. The second snafu was we stopped at the Cenex in Davenport to get some waters and such and my partner managed to loose his fishing license and didn't realize it until we had launched the boat at Keller, so as a result he wasn't able to retain any fish not knowing exactly where his license was.

Still a success, we caught fish and figure things out and it was a beautiful day!!

Nice setup you got there G. Sometimes its the little snafus that make the trip memorable. Tight lines.

We had a friend with us one time when we got checked by WDFW on the water. He didn't realize he didn't have his license with him. The game officer was able to check on line to see if he had it and didn't ticket him.
