Oh boy, it had to happen sooner or later....Alan got skunked for the day! Went out with friend Scott on his boat for a test ride (I'm thinking of buying it) and ran down to Sterling point fro 7 Bays to start out. Not even a bump and nothing on the sonar either. There were several other boats out looking for fish too but never saw a net.
Moved back up to Hawk Creek and Scott managed a couple of bowes at 25' on a black/orange fly he tied. No love on my poles there either. Went home with the two fish for the day and that was it.
Sure was a beautiful day on the water, all is good and we'll get em next time - Alan

I feel your pain Alan.
Made a run to Roosevelt on Saturday myself. It was a ghost town under the boat. Picked up one wally. We got checked by the fish cop and he said it was Slow for everyone. Most of the boat checked had only a fish or 2.
But that's fishing and you couldn't ask for a better day to be floatin.

Tough day Alan, but sometimes it happens that way. Hard to beat a day on the water even if the fish don't cooperate. :-)

Glad you had a good day on the water, we have to keep reminding ourselves that catching fish is a bonus.
