Launched @ Gifford by ourselves @ 8am. A steady drizzle welcomed us. Fished North on the East side working the points for 3-4 miles. Caught a nice rainbow right out of the gate on a pink squid with a smiley blade baited with a grub. The water was flat and glassy when the drizzle turned to a light rain, and then stopped completely. Fished 3 more hours and hooked another rainbow on a Rapala in 50 feet of water. We ran lines in the top 20 feet of water all day. Surface temp was 37* with no wind. We fished until 3pm without another bite and called it a day. Absolutely beautiful day on the water!
