Well the three of us hit Keller around 8:30 after a not so pleasant drive from Spokane where we battled the occasional patch of black ice. Got lines in the water and hit our first Koke right away and then lost two more over the next 1/2 hour. Then things just got quiet (that's what you get for losing fish) and we trolled around enjoying each others company. Eventually we picked up 2 more Kokes and 3 trout but we worked for every one of them. It seemed like the bait clouds had moved down into the 100 foot depth range so I don't know if that was the difference or not.

Still a good day on the water with good company!

Hey dharris, I'm hitting Rosy Friday. Can you give meany help on depth and where you caught the ones you did?
Thanks in advance, Andy

When the bite got slow had the water gone flat and the sun come out a bit? That's what happened to us. Seems like the earlier you can start the better. Thanks for the report.

afk- we picked everything up downriver from the Keller launch and as Part-Time asked, the bite has been a bit faster earlier AND some wind waves still helps as they seem to be in the 22 foot range.

Thanks dharris. From the looks of the forecast, sunshine won't be a problem!
