Good weekend for putting meat on the smoker and fresh fillets on the bbque. Fished south of Keller launch with all the other boats. Picked up majority of fish on DR around 15-20ft. Luck ranged from k flys, hootchies, crank baits and wedding rings. Highlight of day was picking up a double on Kokanee with one of my best buds, that came all the way from Vancouver Wa! Both koks got airborne at the same time. The condition and quality of this fishery proves to be great.....time after time.

Is it me, or are the kokanee getting bigger and bigger the more I read posts about them?

Tleemv the guy in the pic is "long-arming" to make the fish seem larger than they actually are. Those are definately very large kokes either way though, but i doubt they are any larger than the kokes in the other reports. Still very nice fish, not meaning to insult the author, just explaining why they look so big.

Nice job man! Those doubles on kokanee when they're jumping out of the water is a blast. Glad you guys got into them and thanks for sharing.

hahaha jonb! But seriously, I feel like I used to see pictures of kokes that were barely 12 inches long...now they all seem to be bigger (regardless of upper extremity position).... : )
