Took my two older boys, nephew and brother-in-law out for a morning of kokanee/trout fishing below Keller Ferry. Had lines in the water by 8 am running 4 rods stacked off 2 downriggers. No long lining today as I wanted to primarily target kokanee. We tried a variety of tackle but had the best luck with pink and orange color apex and spinners tipped with maggots and corn. Best depth was 15 ft but did catch fish down at 26 feet later in the morning. Lots of boats fishing near "Tire Beach" and saw at least 3 guide boats. Beautiful day on the water with no wind. What a great winter time fishery.
