Fishing was a little slow Sunday for my crew. We fished out of Kettle Falls south to daisy checking the usual spots with limited action. Boated only two fish and only had a couple other drive byes. The water had came up since my last trip and the docks at the marina were under water and not usable. If the weather hold I will be venturing a little further south. Still a great day on the water.

I think pool fluctuation messed with us. Not wishing bad luck on anybody. But, you made me feel a little better! Thanks for the report.

afk I will take the bad days as long as we keep getting a few of those GOOD days. allfish I was only boat at the launch on Sunday. I saw a other boats but they all appeared to be trolling for trout. This usually is the time of year the locals pull some big eyes out of the deep water above Barney's bridge.

I notice in most photos from Roosevelt the gear looks like what I us for Salmon or Steelhead. Why not run downriggers with lighter gear and get a little more wiggle out of those Trout?

Predator 1 I do have a couple of lighter rods that do give a little better fight. I do a lot of salmon and steelhead fishing so I use what I have for both. I love using my downriggers when needed but most of the winter fishing is close to the surface and no need to use downriggers.
