CF and I introduced Bob to the Great Lake Roosevelt Fishery. We had an unposted report about Kokanee out of Spring Canyon earlier this week so we headed there rather than Keller were we had done well in recent weeks. After 45 min of not a single bite we packed up for the long ride to Keller. We had a Koke on before the first line could get hooked to the down rigger, affirming our decision for the quick change to plan B. Over the next 4 hours we boated 25 (all unclipped) Kokes and 15 RBT. All but a few of the Kokes were 16-18 inches. The sunny day made the fish look as amazing as they were. Gear: Pink hoochies, pink and orange Kekada flies all far behind the boat on DRs 10-25 ft down at 1.7 MPH. We saw about a dozen boats in the area, far more than usual at this time of year. I assume the weather and all the great reports accounted for the numbers. I hope everyone else had as great a day as we did!

Great report and nice shots. A sunny December day and willing Kokanee it doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks for the report. Glad the kok's are still around. Glad they are still up by Keller, hope they stay up there so when they start dropping the lake they don't get flushed.
