The stars aligned and I was able to go out fishing with 2 good buddies and my Brother in law and take my nephew on his first fishing trip. Made the drive to Keller based off of Widebear's recent Kokanee reports. (Thank you) we wasted an hour trying to find fish but once we did it was less than controlled chaos. We landed 5 Kokanee, 4 of them being 2#+ the other being 16" and a bunch of Rainbows. We kept the 4 my nephew caught so he could brag to his mom and my buddy wanted some to fill the smoker. Released as many as we kept. All fish were caught on Rapalas off of the planner boards (fishing 7 rods) only 2 small rainbows came off the DR'S 10-20'. My nephew rated the trip "The best day of his life." So I rated it a 5 despite having to where my house slippers all day and battle the freezing cold.

I saw you out there yesterday. I'm glad you had some good fishing. I think I saw you going thru Creston today too. How did you do today.

I didn't go today, I had to stay home and finish grinding up a couple deer into burger. Besides I wasn't quite all the way thawed out from yesterday's trip.
