Al, CF and I along with a dozen deer were the first at the Keller Ferry launch. Temp was 22 with clear skies. We had lines in the water by 7:30. It was only a few minutes before the first RBT was released. It was steady catching all morning on perch colored Shad Raps and Kekada flies, orange and perch colored. Shad Raps long lined with the flies on down riggers 12-16 feet. Speed 2.0 MPH. Water temp was 55. Most fish were 14-16 inches with only a couple of carryover so. The surprise was landing 8 Kokes, 4 on the orange fly and 4 on the perch Shad Raps. The Kokes were all 16-18 inches and thick. All fish were C&R today. Another great day on the water with great friends!

Nice!!! Been itching for a report from Roosevelt. Great to hear about steady Rainbow catching and the bonus Kokanee coming in. Great pictures too, thanks for getting the flies in there. I'm looking forward to some cold weather, should make the fishing pick up even more. We'll be hoping for the same results when we head down. Thanks for the report, good job out there.

Nice fish! I'm jealous. Work has me tied down until the end of the month. Thanks for the pics and report.
