I was fishing there Saturday and it was HOT, HOT, HOT in our boat at the start. I have gone every Saturday for the last 4 weeks and it was best this week. We launched at ringold and ran up to the first hole.... run up past the corner and keep your gear at 12-14 feet tell you drop over the hump. then drop it into the 20s. super baits (cut plugs) in all colors about 5 feet behind the flasher, packed with garlic (minced in a jar) and tuna... we got 4 fish in our first four passes and finished with 6 by one. we trolled at 3.6-4mph downstream by GPS. but after starting hot boats seamed to be glued to us(i wonder why), preventing us from holding our (slightly faster than the pack) pace. when we got a break in the crowd and the wind we managed a couple more fish and headed home. GREAT day.
