Sorry this report is so late. My son and I took a couple of buddies to Rufus Woods for their first time and we weren't disappointed. Arrived about 8am. Caught a couple recently released 1 pounders then my buddy Randy caught a nice 19in just over 2 pounds. My sons friend got a nice 15 inch also his first out of Rufus.
We fished till noon and caught our limit. We decided to cook one of them over the fire right there. With no seasoning or anything on it. It was one of the best trout I had ever eaten.
