With the dropping of the water, shore fishing at Lake Roosevelt was a real adventure. Negotiation of the sand and drop to shore level required some care. Nonetheless, the effort was worth it; Sunday, my Wife and I caught 5 very nice rainbows. They ranged in size from 15" - 18"; very fun on ultrlight spinning gear. Beautiful day with calm water conditions and plenty of sun. Not a lot of shore anglers, but the boats were out in force.
