Instead of heading out coulee for sunrise fishing we took it easy.
Had a good breakfast, watched it rain.We got to Spring Canyon about noon, nice warm day, light wind, passing sprinkles.
Headed out into mid channle.
Started with a Kekeda fly on one rod and and squider on the other, surface trolling with planers hoping for a koke.
Then my buddies rod off the back of the boat with a diving replas, redish/orange.
All the hits game off the repala, so I started switching gear on the other rods.
By the end of the day we were getting fsh on all 3 rods with repalas.
Steady action at times, slack times at others.
2 rods off planers, one off a downrigger down 5 feet.
All the fish were cookie cutters.
Great day for me and my buddy whom nearly never gets a chance to fish.
Smoker will be full.

Ended the day about 3pm as the wind realy started cranking up.
However you could not ask for much of a beter early Feb day. 55 degrees back at the truck.
