Hit the lake shortly after sunrise. about 30 outside, light to steady wind. Water temp about 35.

Fish seemed to be closer to the surface, than my visit a few weeks ago.

Lost one off a down rigger set at 10 feet, after trying my standard 20' and looking as deep as 40 on up.

Pulled rapalas, one redish/brown
Other crawdad.

I had limited time on this day, breackfast was to be ready for me back home at 11am. Thanks babe.

One boat out already when I got there another launching with me.

Lot had 8 rigs in the lot when i left, and a couple of shore fishermen on the banks and in the marinia.

Superbowl weekend I will put in a day seeking a limit.

Anyone winter fish bows on banks?

I love your video. I'd suggest saving time and gas and put in at Spring Canyon. Last weekend I boated up to Keller from SC. We had some bilge pump issues and returned to SC. We plugged off our problem and finished our limits out in front of SC mid channel!

Thanks for the tip... I'm new to fishing the lake, 1st time was back to back days a few weeks ago.
Ordered a launch permit, wanting to discover the lake more, but figured I'd wait to spring.

I'll give Spring Canyon a try on my next trip Super Bowl weekend.

Do they get Silvers out of Spring Canyon??

Just map checked it.. Spring Canyon is about the same driving time as Keller from Coulee City, however the drive along banks with the views will make it seem shorter.

I'll post of the forum, also.. but does anyone have tips for Burbot, and walleye out of Spring Canyon. I realize walleye might be a little hard this time of the year.

Yes, Silvers can be had in the lower end. I've only ever hooked them incidentally while fishing for Bows. I've targeted Silvers and caught Bows! I've picked up Silvers from Swawilla all the way down to the barrier above the dam. That being said, I have not ranged above Swawilla in the winter until last week.
