Just tell them that you enjoyed your day and they can get over it. All anybody cares about, is where you caught your fish, how your caught your fish, and if you enjoyed the day. Negative comment, you can just tell them to go away. You're doing the fishing, you know the regs, and all that matters is that you enjoy what you're doing.
