Another great day at Lake Roosevelt! We launched at Seven Bays and ran down river towards Sterling. Had poles in the water about 9:30. Friends Tom and Gareld were with me and as always we have a great time together. I started with a mix of tackle and the first hit came on the orange Kekeda at 15' on the downrigger. Next fish was on a orange/black fly. Ran a Rapala for a while; no love there.
We had doubles a couple of times and one triple, what a blast! Three limits in the boat before noon biggest came in 20+". As always the top was welcome as it was rainy some of the time. The orange Kekeda was the winner for the day running 2.2 to 2.5 mph in the top 15' on leaded (three colors) or the downrigger. Sorry no pics today.
Merry Christmas everybody, New Years day will most likely be the next trip - Alan
