8/7/2014 1:07:00 AMIt was an incredible day.
Dave, we were North of the Spokane arm. :) Nice to have the lake all to ourselves up there, at least for that day.

Holy cow. What a day of fishing. Brother in law and I headed up north on his boat. We were after the walleye, and they did not disappoint. We caught them on weeds and weed edges, near pilings, and over rocky structures. We caught them in shallow water (10 feet) and deeper water (40 feet). We used mainly jigs with grubs, or minnows, dragging the bottom, or reeling through the water column. Green and purple were hot, with pumpkin catching as well. We ended with 28 walleye, with 27 keepers. Nothing over 19", but very few under 14".
It was Hot! I would have uploaded pics, but camera took a dive in the lake. Ruh-roh.
