Well this post is from the last month of fishing. Water on the lake was way down as most of you know, but the fishing was hot. Launching from Seven Bays was the only launch we had available. Water levels are coming up very fast now and the holiday weekend is coming. We fished 3/8oz jigs and bodies from Jerrys Lures and no worms in various colors. We had days where we caught 70-80 fish but averaged 30-40 a day. Fish pictured were 14.2lbs, 13.3lbs. We ended up catching 7 fish over 10lbs this spring. We are firm believers in returning the big fish no matter what so we have a personal rule that if a fish is over 5lbs it goes back male or female. We limited on nice eaters of 17-20" on just about every trip this spring. Low water is a mjor pain for the boats but can definitely be a fun time of year.I will post a few more pics under my next post Good fishing everyone.

We have definitely been fishing some of the same water, and my buddy Glenn who abandoned me the previous two weekends had similar results in the same areas as your pictures. The spawn seems to be mostly over and those big pigs are heading back to the deep it would appear. I hope to be out on Porky this weekend in my Crestliner if my Honda 90's power trim doesn't die, the motor is definitely sounding bad but it is going on 16 seasons of fishing.
