The Spokane arm was very muddy and we couldn't manage a walleye bite in 2 hours of fishing it. We moved out to the main lake and did get what we thought were 3 walleye bites but no hookups. I did manage to land this nice rainbow or triploid or whatever it is, using a 3" big hammer swimbait jig.

AJ's Dad - I was out on Porcupine all day with my buddy Glenn in his gray Lund and we also had a very tough day. We fished from porky all the way to buoy 5 and back and our tally for the day was 2 eyes, Glenn caught a 4 lb and a 5 lb both females that we released. I got skunked for the first time this year although I did have half a dozen worm stealing bites. This is normally a prime time for eyes on the arm and even with the off colored water we should be catching quite a few fish. I guess the F&W plan for ruining the walleye fishing on Roosevelt is finally having some effect which is really too bad because it has been a world class walleye fishery. I guess the state doesn't need all of the money we spend for gas, tackle and bait plus all of the licensing fees they make us pay.
