This report is a little late but here it goes anyway. Launched out of Ft Spokane in Glenn's Lund with Jim and myself on board. We headed out to casino flats and didn't pick up any eyes. Throughout the rest of the day we went up and down the river between the rock across from seven bays up to outhouse flats. The tally for the day was 40+ eyes. Most were dinks in the 10-13 inch range but we did manage to catch and keep 16 that were between 16-20 inches, perfect eating size. The largest fish of the day was a 26.5 inch 7lb female that was released by Glenn. Most of our fish were caught on jigs, the shallowest from 26 ft and the deepest from 55 ft. The color of the jig head did not appear to matter as long as the plastic grub/worm was pumpkin/watermelon and had a chartruese tail. Water temp was 37 deg. Forgot my camera so no pictures this time.
Buc, We caught a few on blades, including the 7lb one we released. The best color was the Norisada greenback trout color. I replace the original trebles with red ones, it has definitely increased my catch rate and the original ones have a tendency to bend if you hook a large fish.
