Hit the Hanford Reach on Thursday, did fairly well. Tally for my friend and I were 5 adults and 3 jacks. Backtrolling jet divers and eggs were the ticket again, should be that way until the end of the season. First three hookups were doubles, first of which came five minutes int our first run.

This was the first time my fishing partner has ever limited on salmon, very glad to put him on fish. One of the doubles was a little chaotic. Friend hooks one and while watching him, my drag starts screaming. I tell him to hurry up and land his fish as the one I am into is large. Get his into the net and chase after the mine that had run about 200 yards from the boat. Finally put him into the net after a great fight on my ultralight steelhead spinning rod. My guess is around 25 pounds, the larger one in the picture. Lost at least as many as we caught, good day on the water.
