Fished the 5th through the 15th for King salmon at the mouth of the Deschutes on the Columbia. We found the fishery to be a mixed bag of success for us trollers. We fished a variety of Brads Super Baits behind 11" flashers. They were baited with tuna and various scents. The bite was short each day usually in the early morning as the sun came up. Caught some nice fish and had a ball as usual. It was very hot with some days near a hundred degrees......glad I had the new top this year.

The pictures are of my sons with a couple of nice fish; fishing with the boys is very special to me.

Tight lines all - Alan

Left the scale home....oops! based on previous experience I'd say mid 20's and one upper 20's. Don't know if we broke the 30# range this trip or not. Still some very nice fish. The one in the first picture with my oldest son took a couple hundred feet of line before she stopped. Mighty powerful fish indeed. Big or small...always fun!
