We put in above Wells Dam and fished at the Dam. We were looking to avoid the tournament crowd at Brewster. The pool was as full as I've ever seen it. The overcast sky had the fish holding deeper than normal. Had one pop the gear out of the downrigger at about 5:30 but, he didn't stick. Three pecks in the next hour. Then came the rain with a vengeance! My old tub has no top. Jeremy curled up under the dash and I fished. Soon it was Fish-on on the Chinook rig. Jeremy appeared really quick! I handed off to him. As I was getting the other lines and rigger up it came unbuttoned...
Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good Luck out there!

Hey salmonbarry,I don't know how it went. I was fishing the lower end of the pool. There were 3 other boats in the area I fished. I'm talkin', pull into the launch,back down the ramp and launch. No hurries, no worries and no lines. The Brewster launch is much improved over what it used to be. But, I've been 1/2 Hr. in line there before. I'm spoiled in not being around crowded areas.
