Great day on the Columbia lots of bites once we located a lane that the fish were using .Fishing by Camas in thirteen feet of water with a small Dick Nite white with red head . The bite was fast and furious at times with some times in between to enjoy the senery.

thanks for the shad report. theres not that many on here. I would go withdick nite spoons to if i were to fish from a boat. what was your hookup to landed ratio?

afk it is nice to be retired and enjoy many different fisheries .Looking forward to the King opener at Westport and the Shad will make great crab bait

Nice catch. Would you cook them like crappie? I've only heard of people using them bait but it seems like a waste. I will give it a go for the first time later in the month. I'll be stationed at Umatilla, do you think the fish will be biting that way any time soon?
