Camped at Ft. Spokane campground and fished the Spokane arm for 3 days. Fish are showing on the fish finder but we threw everything in the boat at them and got very little to show for it. Fished off the bottom, fished top water from sun up to sun down. On the last day (the 7th) we ran down to Hawk Creek and fished the bluffs and once again nothing. Our friends who live in the area and know it well were more than a little perplexed at why the bass weren't biting. Water temps were near 70 in most areas and the only thing I can think of for the crappy fishing was that the lake level was coming up by several inches every day. We usually have really good luck on Roosevelt but this was just disappointing at best.
