Two uf us fished for walleye on Saturday the 25th. We started out at Hunters and worked out way towards the mouth of the Spokane. We managed 10 walleye and 3 small mouth on the day. We found fish from 10 feet of water to 40 feet. Fish in the Hunters area were 10 to 30 feet and we picked up two at the mouth of the spokane in 40 feet.
We used purple jigs with a drop shot hook about 14" above the jig. Only 2 fish came on the drop shot. We had to work hard all day for the fish but it was a good day on the water. Fish didn't really seem photo worthy. Biggest fish were 17 and 18 inches.

I was over at Hunters area 2 weeks ago. My wife got one in 40 ft of water. Saw alot on the fishfinder but couldnt get them to bite on anything. Do you think it has anything to do with the drop in the water level?

I'm not sure about the drop in water level. That was my first trip up there this year. I would say maybe they would bite better earlier in the morning or later in the evening or night. The water was pretty clear and the sun was very bright. who knows?

Happy fishing
