First and foremost, Thank you Walakes for all the goodies! (I was the July winner!) Fished Brewster with my oldest and youngest.We started at daybreak & lasted until 10:00. We deployed the usual 0 dodger,10-14'' leader to a mini squid with beads and smile blade. An hour in we boated our first fish. The numbers of fish are fewer. The meat quality is still OK. Around 9:00 They changed the water flow and the bite was on! There were nets out in all directions! We doubled up twice in a 15-20 Min. span! But, the adrenaline rush does not stay with a 20 & 14 Year old for long. By ten they were done. They don't have the fishin' bug like me. But it sure was fun to watch them reel'em and nett'em.
