This is a two day report for July 17th & 18th. I got some time off so that me and my son could hit the Sockeye run in the Brewster Pool.
July 17th I blew off the alarm clock until waking up a 6:00 am and after adding gas & breakfast to the trip, we were on the water at about 8:00 am which is the same time that the bite turns off. My son managed to lose one and pull two. We fished until noon because the weather was great with high overcast, no wind and cool temps. July 18th we were on the water by 5:00 am and had a better day all though I only put one fish in the boat. My son crackered two and put two in the boat. I was not fishing as hard as I wanted too because I spent most of my time driving the boat with my son running the riggers. It’s best with the amount of boats that are on the water that you have someone setting at the helm full time. We watched two collisions that were completely avoidable but because of inattention they happened. It didn't look like anyone was hurt (Thank God) and not much property damage but we witnessed a couple of royal butt chewing’s. I'll post a short video in the forum
