Hit the arm on saturday morning. Launched out of Pocupine at 5 am and motored up near buoy five. Started trolling deep down hushy jerks and ended up catching about a dozen eyes. An orange colored trout pattern was the best color. My buddy Jay had the hot hand and boated the largest eye of the day. The fish was only about 23" but looked like it had eaten a football. It looked like it might still be full of eggs, but when I cleaned it I found a big fat 8" rainbow in its stomach. That fish was a pig considerng it hit a 4 1/2 in husky jerk as well. We ended up working our way back to the bay from buoy five. Jigging picked up a few fish but most were caught trolling a silver colored worm harness straight down the channel. Our total for the day was about 40 eyes. We kept 8 all over 16". Depth ranged from 12' to as deep as 55'. Water temp right around 59 deg.
