Fished with my Buddies Glenn and Jay on Rufus. We decided to do some late day walleye fishing on friday. The bite was pretty tough and after a couple of hours all we had to show was a couple of missing night crawlers. The wind was blowing and we got rained on pretty good which didn't help our cause. It was a good night to be in the back of the boat. Eventually the wind died and we caught 10 walleyes with the largest pictured here. This one went about 6lbs and the next largest was about 5lbs with the rest being good eating size 18"-20"in. We fished till about 11 pm and called it a night. The river was up about two feet compared to the last couple of weekends and temps were about 48 degrees. The spawn should happen anytime now.
