Hit Porcupine on Saturday. Once again had engine trouble and couldn't use my big motor. Used my kicker to motor over to the flat just upriver and across from the launch. My buddy Glenn and I boated 30-35 Walleyes and 3 Burbot. None were anything to brag about but we did have a limit by 1130. All kept were between 15-16in. Most were caught on a jig and that jig better be red with a goby body or you won't have much luck. We spent all day there, not necessarily by choice, but it worked out well. We saw lots of boats come and go and only saw two other fish caught by someone other than us. I added one picture of my livewell and one from last week of the Whitefish I caught. I used photoshop to resize them so hopefully they show up. Water temp was between 35.5 and 37.3. Vis was about 7ft. Talked to one other boat that went up to buoy 5 and they reported it was a Burbot fest with no walleyes to be found.
