Went up to RW with a friend on his boat. First time fishing this fishery. Was there from about 1030 to about 1530. I didn't see alot of catching, but rated it well because I limited with some very nice triploids. Landed both on black jig tipped with shrimp about 10' under bobber. I believe we were at the lower pens. My friend said it was a slow day, but he did manage to land one also. Can't wait to see how they taste. I'll definitely be returning for more.

Thanks for the report.
Make sure that you trim the belly fat prior to cooking.

You are at the launch between the upper and middle pens did you fish up river or down from the launch

@Ganno, thanks for clearing up my location. We fished near both pens, but I had better luck near the lower pen. @Big D, thanks for the cooking info.

And for a special treat, smoke 'em for a few hours and then can 'em. Great on most anything.
