Plunked the river on Wed. 7/13. Flow is still relatively fast with high water levels, although they looked to have dropped quite a bit. Had to google earth the area before heading out to find a spot that would be tree free regardless of level of river. Found a great spot about dead between the bridge and dam. Forgot my good reel and had to improvise with an old Phleuger baitcaster. After a few bad casts and birdsnests, finally placed my weight out far enough to work my qwikfish out far enough. Used a tuna wrap on a chart/chrome K15 QF. Had one take down, but the fish popped off due to my drag being to tight. The counts arent up extremely high, but the fish are in there. It was a beautiful day
