Gave the rating a 3, but that depends on your own expectations. Two of us caught perhaps 15 or 20 SMB, a couple pretty large ones near 16", but all released. We were targeting Walleye, and we caught 30 or more, but that was from 6:30 am to 7:30 PM - a long day.
We did catch a hand full over 16", but most were 14" or less.
The water has not been up for long, so weeds are either dying due to extra water over them, or just starting to break bottom, or they don't even exist yet. More often then not, what we hit was old grass that was growing before the water raised to full pull.
Water temperatures are only 59 to 60 degrees, the water is very clear, the debris from logs and floating organics is heavy. I broke my depth finder transom mount on something while running down the lake.
