We decided to get after it again, since Thursday was so good that we had to see if it was a fluke. It wasn't. While the weather wasn't as nice (overcast, calm then a good stiff storm) the bite was just as good. Three of us this time, put in at Spring Canyon and headed up to find some drop offs near Keller. We found the fish deep again, ending up with 21 walleye and 1 burbot that went about 5 or 6 pounds. We're only guessing on the weight because we haven't caught and weighed any of them. Put it this way.....in a cooler with a 24" ruler on top, it's tail was hanging out the side. Anyway, the wind came up out of the southeast, so we decided we better get closer to the launch. We pulled up in front of Spring Canyon, and had some time so we put out two Rapalas. By 4 pm we ended up with 5 real nice rainbows, probably in the 17" range. Pretty good day for us.
