Fished Rufus Woods on Saturday and Sunday morning. Got are 8 fish which were in the 5lbs. range. Fished large slip weight with 24" leader to power bait. We bounced the bait off the bottom in 25' of water as we drifted down river. The current was slow on both days. Fishing was not hot as we worked hard for bites. Only a few boats out. There were more guys on the bank then out in the river. Good Fishin.

What part of the river where you fishing,near the lower pens or what.Any time you can catch rainbows in the fife pound range it is a great day.Thanks for the report.

Not real familiar with Rufus. There is a turn off from the hiway at the Indian agency. Followed that road down to the river and as soon as you get down there is a set of pens and after that there is a gravel boat launch. We put in there and went up river just above the pens. From there we looked for 25 feet of water and drifted down staying in 25 feet. Its a nice long flat out there.
