Caught fish on perch pattern k fly with 000 dodger and 24" leader, Green wedding ring 6' leader to 000 dodger and orange rapalas. Fishing was not red hot but we had action all day. Had to fight the wind on and off. Largest RB was 21" and the largest Silver was 20". Must of had 50 fish on in the day and a 1/2 of fishing. Water level is dropping.

its not really shore fishin season for walleye yet....most the walleye are in deeper water right now 30-60+ feet ....maybe if ya had a bridge you could get that depth but for now... rainbows are what is hot from the shore... and ya might get lucky with a walleye too but they would be harder to target i would think....just my 2 cents

RC-
Wow!! You only got 5 silvers! I'm still trying for my first one. What did you tip the wedding ring with for bait, and how far back did you have it out, and last but not least, How fast were you trolling? I have tried for two winters and still no silvers, just rainbows. If you would be so kind to help a guy out. I have yet to figure them out. I have fished from spring canyon up to the dam, and up to the basin and am yet to see a silver. I am determaned to get one though! Some day!
Thanks for the report, Great read!!
