HI Guys

Headed down to Roosevelt yesterday morning at dark thrity , we made are usual stop in Creston for breakfest . Now with a full belly and a bladder full of coffee , we headed down to Keller Ferry for the morning launch . We rigged up Pearch pattern fly on three colors of leaded line and long lined a broken back Rapala . Ran over to the mouth of the San Poil area , it wasn't 5 mins till the reels were going off and the action was non-stop . We kept out two limits and released many more . We were headed back home after eating are lunch at 1 PM. What a fishery we have close by , thanks to all the people that make it happen !

Charlie

Great to read your report Charlie and those are some quality fish you've got there too. We had planned to go today, but the winds were blowing 17mph @ 5:30 this morning and I didn't want to trailer 75 miles with those winds. Wouldn't you know it, by 8:30 the winds died down to a light breeze but we'd already scuttled the trip and made other plans. Looking at those nice 'bows makes me wish we hadn't. :-(

Awesome report Charlie! I fish Roosevelt quite a bit...but being a west sider, my normal season there is limited between March and Oct. I love that reservoir. It's great to see the wonderful reports come from there during the 'cold' season...wishin I was there with you!!
