Here is a pic of yesterday, sorry I am a day late and as i say a million dollars short, The 4 inch X-rap I used was trout colored I got it in the cave at Cabellas for 3 dollars cheaper than shelf price 5.99 instead of 8.99 so i went with that color. I really do not think it matters that much as we were catching them on everything we trolled, this is the 1st time I have trolled a 4" lure at that speed and it worked, we also caught one 10 minutes in with a silver magic spoon that was only 1/2 inch with a single hook. Just troll the right speed and go the right depth and hang on.

Hey Tom have enjoyed reading your reports on my favorite body of water. How are the roads heading up to Seven Bays? Is Hwy 25 clear and what about Hwy 2? I'm itching to get the boat out, but not until there's no ice on the roads. ;-)

This time of year, anything in the 2.5 - 2.8mph, and even higher, works well at Roosevelt. :-)

hey hewesfisher, The roads are good considering the weather. Hwy 25 was very well plowed and saw signs of double plow from morning until we left. Hwy 2 was good, drove slow getting close to Davenport saw alot of cars in the ditch due to them driving to fast. Getting into 7bays was great well plowed roads this was a bad snow day and we had not a problem at all. You will have no problem getting in just drive slow, I have a big Suburban and no problems I did not get nervous one time, Infact my two buddies that went me are takeing my boat back in the morning as the fishing was that good, I have a job to finish in the morning but hope they have such good results, the whole purpose of having a boat is so that others can enjoy it. Keep posting and tight lines!!!!!
