Anoher great adventue on Roosevelt. We launched a Lincoln and fished downriver. The fishing was fast and furious most of the day with a jointed rappala the hot lure most of the day. Leaded line 180' behind the boat was the most productive and lure color varied. Mono on top was fair early on but dead in the afternoon as was the downrigger. Speed was fast at about 2.8 to 3.5mph. Most of the fish were caught over deep water. By the end of the day we boated our limits and went home. We estimated over 40 fish for the day, many over 18". Looking forward to my next trip.
