I got out on the lake around 6 AM and started trolling using a wedding ring and half a worm. After catching a couple of small trout I decided to try somewhere I hadn't tried before. It was about 20 feet deep, had a decent amount of weeds at the bottom and was close to a drop off/point. After trolling here for about 5 minutes I hooked into a nice 18 inch smallmouth bass. It put up a heck of a fight and was a blast to catch. Unfortunately, at the time I caught it, I was by myself so I couldn't get a picture. I ended up releasing it so someone else could catch it another day.

At around 10:30 AM, I picked my kids and wife up from the dock and I went back to trolling for trout. We did pretty good but all the trout were small. Over about 6 hours, we caught 13 trout, 1 smallmouth, 1 rock bass and 1 perch. Only the smallmouth was big but we all had a good time. It was a really nice way to spend Fathers Day.

Here is a picture of my daughter with one of the trout she caught.
