Another day in front of the White River on the Columbia river. This time Aaron and I trolled with a guide, Herb, from Ed Iman's Fish Camp. We started the day using chartruese kwik fish wrapped with sardine strips. The technique is a slow troll, off the bottom, We started an hour before daylight and got a few hits but couldn't keep any on until Aaron final had his rod buried from a nice 22 pound chinook. Nice fight and a nice fish! I managed one later in the morning on eggs, and Aaron got one on eggs. The bite really died off compared to yesterday. Still, three more nice chinook for the smoker!
