Launched at Spring Canyon 8:30 am. Water Temp 48. Went to flat just Northeast of Plum Point fished for half hour before being blown off. Went up lake towards Keller Ferry and fished rock piles and points on the left accross from the bluffs. Caught 7 nice smallies 2 to 31/2 lbs. Moved to lower Sanpoil and fished both sides of the river, fished gravel flats and points. Caught 9 smallies 2 to 31/2 lbs with one 4.9. Very windy from 11;00 on. Left the Sanpoil around 3:30 and fished the rock piles and points that we fished in the morning again and caught another 5 that were the same size. All fish were caught on lipless crank baits and 1/4 ounce speed traps in perch color. Most fish caught in 8 to 12 ft. of water. They are raising the water and the fishing changed from the weekend before, Fri. Sat. which were 46 and 53 fish days under the same weather conditions.
